What It Took to Engineer the Frontend of an AI-Driven Industrial Safety Platform
See how ConforgeLabs engineered an Angular frontend for an AI-driven industrial safety platform, supporting complex workflows, reporting, and production operations.

An industrial-safety and operational-intelligence startup, building technology to protect frontline workers, needed deep Angular engineering to build and evolve its Industrial Safety Inspection Manager. ConforgeLabs embedded in their cross-functional team to own end-to-end frontend development, from complex reporting UIs to ongoing production support.
A Safety Platform Only As Good As the Interface
The client set out to do two demanding things in one product. The first was to digitize and automate safety inspections end to end, tracking equipment, running checklists, managing training, and holding the whole process to regulatory compliance standards. The second, harder, real-time challenge was to monitor worker safety as it happens: environmental hazards, worker health metrics, collision avoidance, gas detection, and lone-worker protections. Delivering both in a single coherent product put enormous weight on the frontend. Dense safety data, live monitoring, regulatory reporting, and involved operational workflows all had to resolve into interfaces that frontline users and safety teams could rely on under pressure, where a confusing screen isn't a cosmetic issue but a barrier between a worker and a hazard. As a fast-moving startup, the client needed dedicated Angular engineering depth to build those interfaces, keep pace with an evolving roadmap, and maintain production reliability, capacity, and specialization; bringing in an embedded partner made sense rather than building from scratch.

“Our frontend isn't a skin over the product; it's how a frontline worker sees a hazard and acts on it. We needed engineering that treated it that way.”
